The Moroccan Association of Ibn Battuta’s mission is to honor the illustrious character of Ibn Battuta and present his valuable legacy as being a part of the Moroccan immaterial heritage. The association aspires to make a tangible change by extending the peace it creates within the foundation into the world.

Q: What is the Moroccan Association of Ibn Battuta?

Founded in June 2015, the Moroccan Association of Ibn Battuta is a non-profit association with a noble mission of spreading peace and prosperity across the globe. The association is entirely dedicated to the promotion of the emblematic figure of ‘Ibn Battuta’ and his legacy as a part of Morocco’s cultural heritage.


In order to join us, please fill out the membership application form available on https://ibnbattuta.ma/get-involved/

Upon approval of your application, we will send you a confirmation email containing all the necessary details about the fees as well as your membership card.

Our association’s members have extensive knowledge about Ibn Battuta’s life and travels, and many of them hold a PhD in history and tourism. Please send us an email and we will direct you to the person who can provide answers to all your queries.
